The mixture is completely unrelated to the presence or absence of a throttle. WebJan 22, 2008 · 2,679 Posts. #4 · Jan 13, 2008. yes remove the 4 screws from the top of the carb, remove the cap, spring and slid. using a phillip insert it into the slide to remove the needle lock, rotate it only a 1/4 turn to remove it. be careful there is a smaller washer under the needle. You should be able to adjust it out with the 2" snorkel.
